By Air
The nearest airport to Baisaran is Srinagar International Airport, which is about 95 kilometres from Pahalgam. Srinagar Airport has regular flights from major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Pahalgam, and from there, Baisaran is a short trek or horse ride away. Travel Time: About 2-3 hours from Srinagar to Pahalgam by road. .
By Train
The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is approximately 255 kilometres from Pahalgam. Jammu Tawi is well-connected to major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. After reaching Jammu, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to Pahalgam. It is a long journey, taking about 8 hours to reach Pahalgam by road from Jammu.
By Road
From Srinagar: The road distance from Srinagar to Pahalgam is about 95 kilometres. You can hire a taxi or drive via the Srinagar-Pahalgam Road. The drive offers scenic views and takes about 2-3 hours. From Jammu: The road journey from Jammu to Pahalgam is about 255 kilometres, and it takes approximately 8 hours. You can either drive or take a bus, with buses available from Jammu’s main bus terminal. After reaching Pahalgam, Baisaran is about 5 kilometres away. You can either trek to the meadow or hire a horse for a more scenic and traditional journey.
