Harmukh Mountain is located in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is part of the Himalayan range and is situated between the Kishanganga and Sind Rivers.The peak of Harmukh Mountain is 5,142 metres (16,870 ft) high. The peak is square-shaped and can be seen from all sides, which is how it got its name.

By Car

You can drive from Srinagar to Arin or Naranag, which are popular starting points for the trek to the mountain base. The distance from Srinagar to Arin is approximately 47 km. A well-maintained road connects Srinagar to these towns.

By Train

The nearest railway station is in Srinagar, though it's better to travel by air or road to reach the base of Harmukh due to limited train services in the region.
